The burger was a good traditional flat top cooked burger that was well seasoned and juicy. It would have been a higher rated burger if it were not a frozen patty. The texture of the meat detracted and a bit of the frozen patty taste was still there.

We have loved this place for years. Sadly they have made changes and we will not be back. The burgers were always great, until our visit today. We should have expected a problem when the couple next to us left their burgers and walked out The meat tasted like saw dust and the waitress said they charge a buck more for freshly made patties. It was obvious that they no longer care about what they serve you. I was given the opportunity to order something else and ordered the catfish plate which is not cheap. Instead of getting the filets that they served in the past, I got tasteles nuggets.. The catfish they served in the past was great. What a letdown. My wife ordered a plate diner. The cheese sauce on her brocollic spread to her pirates and roast beef. The waitress was nice and admitted they had made changes. Very sad that they feed you slop instead of the great food they served in the past. The owners neex to rhinkk about the quality of the food they serve. Unless they make changes, stay away.

Have been eating here for years as it is a regular stopping point on motorcycle rides west from Austin. Food is pretty good, they usually have a lunch special that is a good deal, I like the catfish. Burgers, eggs and biscuits for breakfast all pretty good. They used to have excellent home made pie (including beautiful coconut meringue) but lately pie has been very disappointing.

Very good food. Reasonable prices. A local spot.

Great down home comfort food. Recently they have been short staffed and a little frazzled but the food is good.
